Two-dimensional DOA Estimation by Seismic Sensor in Shallow Water Multi-path Environment

摘要: 利用单个三轴地震波传感器可对水中目标进行被动探测和定位,为了提高地震波传感器的目标分辨能力,将MUSIC算法用于单地震波传感器的方位估计中。针对传统MUSIC方法在相干信号源条件中性能下降的问题,提出斜投影极化分离方法对水中多径传播信号进行分离,在不同的极化状态空间对目标的空间谱进行估计实现水中目标的高分辨方位估计。仿真结果表明,该方法依靠单个地震波传感器便可实现浅水多途环境下的高分辨方位估计。湖试数据的处理结果验证了该方法的有效性。Abstract: The passive detection and location of the underwater target can be realized by using a single three-axis seismic sensor. In order to increase the resolving capacity in merely using the condition of only deploying single Ocean Bottom Seismometer (OBS), the MUSIC algorithm is introduced into DOA (Direction Of Arrival) estimation. To address the performance degradation caused by the traditional MUSIC algorithm existing in the coherent signal source, the oblique projection polarization separation method is employed to separate multi-path propagating signal which gives the high resolution DOA estimation in various subspace of polarization state based on the estimate to spatial spectrum of the target in water. The simulation results show that the proposed of this algorithm achieves high resolution DOA estimation with only one OBS in shallow water multi-path environment. The experimental results using data collected in lake demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed algorithm.
