A Modulation Classification Algorithm for MPSK Signals Based on Special Duffing Oscillator

摘要: 该文利用混沌振子对噪声处理的优势,提出一种在低信噪比条件下基于混沌理论的调制识别方案,给出了对MPSK信号进行调制识别的原理与方法,并设计了新的Duffing振子模型用以提升识别效果。该算法仅仅利用载波频率的先验信息,无需对相偏、码速率、噪声功率等参数进行估计。仿真实验表明信噪比在-5 dB时,3种MPSK信号的正确识别概率在95%以上,证明了该文算法的有效性。Abstract: A modulation classification scheme based on the chaotic theory is presented in low SNR condition by taking the advantage of the chaotic oscillator at noise management. The principle and method of the modulation classification to MPSK signal are given, and a new Duffing oscillator model is designed to improve the classification performance. The method only uses the prior information of carrier frequency, so it can be implemented without the parameter estimation of phase offset, symbol rate and noise power. Simulation experiments show that the probability of correct classification is larger than 95% for classifying 3 kinds of MPSK signals respectively when the SNR is as low as -5 dB. It verifies the validity of the algorithm.
