Theoretical Analysis on the Mismatch Influence of Displaced Phase Center Multiple-beam SAR Systems

摘要: 利用方位向多孔径接收的合成孔径雷达具有高分辨率-宽测绘带能力。该文从理论上推导了通道间不一致性对方位向多孔径SAR性能的影响。通过补零,将方位向单通道采样序列与多通道采样序列建立了联系。对存在通道失配的序列脉冲压缩表明了主峰两侧会存在若干虚假峰。文中给出了峰值-假目标比的解析计算公式,表明峰值-假目标比与通道间幅相失配大小、通道数、多普勒带宽及方位向过采样率等因素有关。这些公式的正确性通过点目标仿真得到了进一步验证。Abstract: By using multiple-receive apertures in azimuth, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems are enabled with high-resolution and wide-swath imaging ability. In this paper, influence of channel imbalances on SAR systems with multiple-receive apertures in azimuth is derived theoretically. Azimuth multi-channel sequence is related with the single-channel sequence by use of zero padding. The result of the compression on mismatched multi-channel sequence shows that several ghosting peaks are presented around the main peak. Analytical formulas to calculate the Peek-to-Ghost-Ratio (PGR) and ghost locations are given, which show that the PGR is determined by the magnitude of channel mismatch, the number of the channels, the Doppler bandwidth and the azimuth oversampling ratio. The correctness of these formulas is validated further by simulation experiments.
