Fast Angle Estimation Algorithm of Coherently Distributed Targets for Bistatic MIMO Radar

摘要: 该文提出一种基于双基地MIMO雷达的相干分布式目标快速角度估计算法。建立了双基地MIMO雷达相干分布式目标信号模型;然后,基于该信号模型证明了相干分布式目标导向矢量具有Hadamard积旋转不变性;最后,利用该特性得到了对目标2维收发中心方位角的估计。分析表明:该算法无需搜索,参数配对简单,能有效降低算法的计算量;由于没有对相干分布式目标的角信号分布函数做固定的假设,所以该算法适用于具有不同角信号分布函数或角信号分布函数未知的情况,具有较强的稳健性。计算机仿真结果证明了该文算法的正确性和有效性。

Abstract: A fast angle estimation algorithm of coherently distributed targets based on bistatic MIMO radar is proposed. Firstly, the signal model of coherent distributed targets for bistatic MIMO radar is established. Then, Hadamard product rotational invariance property of the steering vectors of coherently distributed targets is proved based on the signal model. Finally, the estimations of the two-dimensional (2-D) transmit-receive central azimuths are obtained by using the property. Analyses indicate that the proposed algorithm need not search and can pair the parameters simply, which reduces the computational cost efficiently. Because the proposed algorithm does not assume the angular signal distribution functions of the targets, it can deal with different distributed targets with different angular signal distribution functions or unknown angular signal distribution functions, and it is robust. The correction and efficiency of the proposed method are verified with the computer simulation results.
