An Algorithm of OQPSK Carrier Synchronization Based on Quadratic Spectrum

摘要: 基于COSTAS环的载波同步环路在对大频偏OQPSK信号进行载波同步时,所需的入锁时间较长,不能满足突发信号的处理要求。针对这一问题,该文将OQPSK信号的平方谱与载波同步环路相结合设计了改进算法。仿真结果显示,改进算法比传统算法的估计精度更高;在信噪比高于6 dB时,入锁时间短、误比特率接近理论限,满足大频偏突发信号的处理要求。Abstract: When the feedback structure based on COSTAS loop is used in carrier synchronization of OQPSK signal with large frequency offset, the locking time is so long that feedback structure poorly fits for burst signal. To resolve this problem, this paper designs an improved algorithm based on the power spectrum of OQPSK signal and the feedback structure. Simulation results show that the performance of the improved algorithm is better than the traditional COSTAS loop, and the improved algorithm has a short locking time and low bit error rate which almost attains Shannon capacity under that power-to-noise ratio is higher than 6 dB.
