Effect on Self-similar Characteristics of the Leak-Bucket Output Traffic

  • 摘要: 该文研究了采用漏桶机制对自相似业务实施整形后,输出业务流自相似性质的变化.半定量地 分析和仿真实验表明对于具有长程相关特性的自相似输入业务流,在负载较重的情形下,经过漏桶整形后输 出业务流的自相似性明显增强,并且在负载越重时输出业务流的自相似性增强的越多,从而将加速网络性能 的劣化,提出了对于自相似业务需要不同于传统漏桶机制的新的整形策略的必要性。
