SAR Raw Data Compression Using Wavelet Packet Transform

摘要: 该文介绍了小波包变换和网格编码量化的优点,结合合成孔径雷达(SAR)原始数据的特点,提出了基于小波包变换和网格编码量化的SAR原始数据压缩算法。利用模拟和实际数据分析了该压缩算法的性能,通过与其他原始数据压缩算法的比较说明了这一方法的有效性。Abstract: The advantages of wavelet packet transform and Trellis-Coded Quantization (TCQ) are introduced and compression algorithm for SAR raw data based on wavelet packet transform and TCQ is given. Compression performance of the algorithm on simulated and real raw data analysis is presented and compared with other techniques by different quality parameters, which shows that the algorithm is suit for compression of SAR raw data.
