Performance Analysis of Registration Measures for Multi-modal Image Registration

摘要: 该文考察了多模态图像配准中几个典型的配准测度，揭示了它们之间的关系，通过实验对它们进行了全面的分析比较．实验中考察的测度主要包括：基于熵的测度、PIU测度以及PIU测度的改进形式等．实验结果显示了这几个典型配准测度在有效性和适应性方面的差异，为实际应用中合理选择这些测度提供可靠的参考．

Abstract: This paper reviews several typical techniques of multi-modal image registra-tion, exposures the relationship among them, and offers a full analysis and comparison using numerical examples. The techniques analyzed in this paper include the ones using those reg-istration measures such as entropy based, PIU (Partition Intensity Uniformity) classes, and correlation coefficient based. The modified PIU criteria are also included. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and accommodation of the techniques, and provide a valid reference in the choice of registration techniques. -
