封闭介质波导分析多模网络方法
ANALYSIS OF CLOSED DIELECTRIC WAVEGUIDEMULTIMODE NETWORK APPROACH

摘要: 本文将多模网络理论的积木式分析方法和严格的场匹配技术相结合,对一大类封闭介质波导的色散特性进行了研究。用所述方法给出了若干波导结构的数值例子,为了比较,也用有限元法和EDC法对同一结构进行了计算。结果表明,本文方法具有与有限元方法同样的精度,又能保持EDC方法的简便特性,从而证实了所述方法的效能。Abstract: The dispersion characteristics of a class of closed dielectric waveguide areinvestigated by the method which combines the building-block approach of multimode network theory with rigorous mode matching procedure. Several numerical examples for different guiding structures have been given by the approach. The same structures are also analyzed with the finite element method and the EDC method for comparison. The calculations show that the present approach yields as highly accurate results as the finite element method while almost retaining the simplicity of the EDC method, and justify the utility of the present method.
