INTRACELL C/I BALANCING TECHNIQUES FOR UPLINKS OF A MULTI-CELL CELLULAR CDMA SYSTEM

  • Two intracell C/I balancing techniques are presented for controlling mobiles transmitter powers on the uplinks of a multi-cell cellular CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) system in order to compensate the combined effects of shadowing and path loss, with their performance being evaluated in terms of cell-averaged outage probability which is different from the traditional index.
