Density Evolution Method and Threshold Decision for Irregular LDPC Codes

  • In this paper, the principle of density evolution combined with decoding process is explained firstly. Two algorithms discretized density evolution and Gaussian approximation to program the evolution proceeding are discussed. Simulation results of some good distribution pairs that are found are presented as well.
