Considering the issue of In-phase and Quadrature-phase (IQ) imbalances in MIMO-OFDM systems with sparse multipath channels, a method jointing IQ imbalance with sparse channel estimation is proposed. The time-domain model for joint IQ imbalance and sparse channel estimation is derived and an estimation scheme based onl1l2 norm optimization model and Parallel Coordinate Descent (PCD) algorithm is proposed. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme improves obviously the system performance compared with the traditional frequency-domain Least Squares (LS) and Matching Pursuit (MP) algorithms.
