Abstract: By the aid of the phase shift-frequency characteristic, the conformal transformation and the perturbation theory, a new kind of compact, broadband waveguide phase shifter is developed. It is used in the satellite earth station and achieves very nice performances. The experimental data coincide with the theoretical results.
