Abstract

Abstract

A new method of analysing the high-frequency behaviour of the deflection system of oscillotrons is described. By analysing the tr ansit-time-different model of the deflection system of oscillotrons under unit-step function voltage, either the sweep trace of the electron beam or calculating formulae of the rise time can be derived.
