In this paper, the main issure presented in author s paper published in Journal of Electronics (Vol. 4 No. 4, July, 1982) and Proceedings of International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (Rome, May, 1982)about the effects of unlocked loop on the LFM waveform are further expounded in order to clear up some vague concepts in a discussion published in Journal of Electronics (Vol. 7, No. 3, May, 1985).
