THE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF ATM SWITCHING ARCHITECTURE UNDER NONUNIFORM TRAFFIC MODE

  • In this paper, the performances of ATM switch architectures based on different buffer strategies and some switch design technologies which can improve switching performance under uniform traffic mode are studied and compared with that of nonuniform traffic mode. On the basis of above analyses, a high-performance switch design is proposed.
