A common problem in Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imaging is to estimate the rotating parameters for uniformly accelerated rotation target. At first, the radar echo model for uniformly accelerated rotation target is introduced. Then, the relationship between the extracted polynomial phase parameters and rotation parameters is deduced when the Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) model is utilized to extract the prominent scattering centers from profile sequences. An algorithm is proposed on this basis which can estimate the rotating parameters unbiased for uniformly accelerated rotation target. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
