Based on a binary sequence with ideal two-level autocorrelation with period N=ML+r, a construction of quaternary Low Correlation Zone (LCZ) sequence set is proposed. The parameters of the resultant quaternary LCZ sequence sets such as length of LCZ and set size are flexible. When r0, multiple LCZ sets with the same parameters can be constructed, and when r=0, the set size of LCZ sequence set is optimal or almost optimal with respect to the theoretical bound. As a result, the proposed method can be used to construct more LCZ sequences suitable for QS-CDMA systems.
