The PS Selection Method Using Temporal Information in PSDInSAR Technique

  • PS (Permanent Scatters) selection methods mostly used points statistic characteristics as criteria, which of course ignores temporal information of the data sets, some good permanent scatterers may also be ignored. This paper is focused on quasi permanent scatterers, which have good stability during the whole monitoring period except for a short time disturbance. After introducing the concept of quasi permanent scatterers, its character is simulated, the method of choosing it then formed, which is called PS temporal selection method. Then this method is applied to Envisat ASAR data in Tianjin area. With quasi permanent scatterers help, the number of PS points increase and distribute evenly, keeping high coherence at the same time.
