A Real-time Associative Algorithm of RCMC and SRGR

  • The interpolation for Range Cell Migration Correction (RCMC) is an important step in Range Doppler (RD) algorithm. The Slant Range to Ground Range (SRGR) conversion also needs interpolation approach. The interpolation introduces errors to SAR imagery. The principles of RCMC and SRGR are analyzed in this paper. An efficiently associative algorithm of RCMC and SRGR is developed. The associative algorithm needs interpolation for RCMC and SRGR only once. Compared with the conventional implements, it has less interpolation error than conventional implements, improves the precision of image processing and reduces the computation load largely. Simulation results on real-world airborne SAR raw data show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional implements. For better precision and less computation cost, the associative algorithm is helpful to real-time implementation for the high resolution SAR data imaging.
