The Resource Allocation in Multiuser MIMO OFDM System

  • Practical maximum SJNR-precoding based adaptive resource allocation schemes are proposed for multi-user MIMO OFDM systems. According to the SJNR value, incremental and decremental algorithms are presented for user selection on each subcarrier that multi-user diversity is exploited by allocating the subcarriers to the right users and meanwhile a maximum capacity can be achieved. Besides, an allocation algorithm with users different QoS is given based on decremental algorithm. Analysis and simulation results show that both IA and DA can achieve the similar performance as the optimal one with low complexity while QDA can satisfy the users different requirement as well as increase the total throughput.
