  • In this paper, the design of Ka-band broadband, high-linearity and high-efficiency slow-wave system is proposed for Space Traveling Wave Tube (TWT). The dynamic phase-shifting technique is used to achieve low phase distortion and high efficiency. Based on this design, the Ka-band TWT is developed to realize wideband (25~27 ), low nonlinear distortion (non-linear phase shift40, AM / PM2.86/dB, third order intermodulation10.39 dBc), high efficiency (total efficiency51.7%). By the digital transmission system test, the error codepe is better than10-6 in the case ofC/N0 2.4 dB margin, it meets the satellite data transmission system for multi-channel parallel transmission program work requirements.
