  • For multichannel High-Resolution Wide-Swath SAR (HRWS SAR), to achieve high resolution wide cover mapping ability, the echoes of each channel suffer Doppler ambiguity, thus current clutter suppression approaches may not perform well. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a novel clutter suppression approach, and the corresponding double threshold CFAR detection scheme is given. First, inspired by the idea of solution for Doppler ambiguity based on Digital Beam Forming (DBF), adaptive DBF is applied to clutter suppression. Then, the existing problems are analyzed and the improved approach, which can reduce the Degree of Freedom (DOFs) and settle the problem between computation load and estimation accuracy, is given. At last, the effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated by the simulated results.
