THREE-DIMENSIONAL MULTI-BEAM ADAPTIVE ARRAYS
Liu Zhen-Wei
1983, 5(3): 137-146.
Abstract:
The multi-beam antenna systems become increasingly important in moden communi-cations, so in this paper, according to the properties of array radiation space, the LMS adaptive techniques are generalized for multi-beam antenna systems. And the follow-ing theoretical aspects of the said arrays are discussed: the radiation pattern of three-dimensional adaptive arrays, the evolution of radiation pattern of the adaptive arrays, the signal-to-noise ratio of the array system output, and the structure of the adaptive multi-beam networks.
ENUMERATING ALL HAMILTONIAN CYCLES IN SOME GRAPHS BY USING THE GENERALIZED FIBONACCI SEQUENCE AND ITS PRODUCTION RULE
Jin Sui-Geng
1983, 5(3): 147-154.
Abstract:
In this paper the Fibonacci sequence is generalized at first. Then the algorithm which has been published in this Journal by the author and his colleague is developed. Both production and recursion formulas for describing the algorithm are obtained. Here the two formulas for enumerating all hamiltonian cycles in two kinds of maxi-mum planar graphs seem to be derived for the first time.
THE MEASUREMENT OF SPACE MAGNETIC FIELD OF TV DEFLECTION YOKE USING A DIFFERENCE INDUCTION METHOD
Zhang Bang-Ying
1983, 5(3): 155-162.
Abstract:
In this paper some methods for measuring magnetic fields are described coneisely and a comparison between these methods is made. The general theory and experiment-al method for measuring the TV deflecting magnetic field are given in detail. A practical measuring set up is presented. The curves of the magnetic field parameters H0(z), H2(z) and H4(z) are shown.
MEASUREMENTS OF MAGNETIC FIELD OF THE DEFLECTION YOKE
Ding Shou-Qian, Wu Jia-Qun, Fang Lan, Wang Jing-Wu
1983, 5(3): 163-171.
Abstract:
A double coil system has been designed for measuring the magnetic field of a deflection yoke. A general formula for calculating the field parameters of H0, H2 and H4 is derived when the measuring double coil is in any two positions on x (or y) axis. Even when there exists a small difference o f sensitivities between these two coils, the formula should stili be valid. Measurements are processed by the regression analysis along the x (or y) axis in order to obtain the optimum values for the field parameters. Measurements can be taken for regions farther away from the z-axis.
PERMANENT MAGNET FOCUSED X-BAND KLYSTRON
Li An-Lai, Liu Tie-Shan, Tang Yi-Feng, Li Sen-Ru
1983, 5(3): 172-180.
Abstract:
This article describes the design. and ealculation of an airborne 3 cm PM focused klystron. The selection of parameters are all aimed at reducing the weight of the klystron, obtaining smooth gain and increasing the bandwidth.
DESIGN OF THE OPEN RESONANT CAVITY FOR GYROTRON
Chen Zeng-Gui
1983, 5(3): 181-187.
Abstract:
In this paper the general theory of the open resonant cavity with slow-varying sections for a gyrotron is described briefly, the bieonical open resonant cavity is discussed in detail, and the design principle of the bieonical resonant eavity for operating at arbitrary circular-electric mode is given. The theoretical analysis is in agreement with experimental results.
THEORY AND CALCULATION OF VELOCITY RESYNCHRONISM FOR HELIX TWT (3)
Zhou Wen-Biao, Chen Pei-Long
1983, 5(3): 188-191.
Abstract:
This paper analyzes two kinds of method which can raise the efficiency of TWT by using universal helix TWT program. The relationship between the electronic efficiency of TWT with the single phase velocity jump and the magnitude of the velocity jump is evaluated and the optimum length of the velocity jump is given theoretically. These theoretical results are in agreement with the experimental ones and can be used in design of actual TWT.
SLOT FEEDING PLANAR ARRAY ANTENNA
Tian Xian-Zu
1983, 5(3): 192-196.
Abstract:
The article describes a planar array with a slot feeding structure in x-band. The design of the slot linear array with rectangular waveguide and the radiation patterns (E plane and H plane) of the slot feeding planar array are discussed. It is not difficult to design an aperture distribution of the linear array, in order to obtain a specified vertical pattern by means of various slant angles of the slot and phase shifts of the phaser. The calculated and experimental results are also shown.
A TEN PERCENT BANDWIDTH HIGH-POWER PULSED KLYSTRON AMPLIFIER
Niu De-Lu, Ding Yao-Gen, Liu Cong-Mao, Li Dao-Kun, Lu Xiao-Hou
1983, 5(3): 197-198.
Abstract:
This paper describes a pulsed klystron amptifier tube with 1-2 MW peak out-put power is described. It operates at the low end of S-band. The 1 dB bandwidth is greater than 10% f0 with 40 dB gain. The tube has an overlapping mode extended interaction output section and a six cavity buncher section. It is very stable in operation. It has nearly constant gain accross the entire band.
