摘要: 本文分析了相对论电子束的能量单色性对自由电子激光器小信号增益的影响,对给定的泵浦场,存在临界能量分散度,超过它之后小信号增益将变为负值,波长越短,放大长度越长的激光放大器,对能量单色性的要求越高;激光振荡器对能量单色性的要求则比激光放大器低得多。

Abstract: The effect of the monochromaticity of relativistic electron beam's energy on the small signal gain of free electron lasers is analyzed. For a certain pumping field, there is a critical energy divergency, over which the small signal gain will become negative. The shorter the wavelength and the longer the magnification length, the higher is the requirement of energy monochromaticity of electron beam for laser amplifiers. But the requirement of monochromaticity of electron beam for laser oscillators is much lower. -
