用俄歇电子谱仪和X射线光电子谱仪研究氧化物阴极
INVESTIGATION OF AN OXIDE CATHODE ON A Ni-W-Mg SUBSTRATE BY AES AND XPS

摘要: 本文用俄歇电子谱仪和X射线光电子谱仪研究了氧化物阴极在分解激活过程中表面、基底和涂层交界面的化学成分、化学态以及基底中的激活剂对涂层的作用。获得的实验结果表明,在激活过程中,阴极表面诸成分的原子浓度百分比发生了明显变化,产生了超额Ba。基底中的激活剂Mg对超额Ba的产生起重要作用。充分激活的阴极表面层是由(Ba,Sr,Ca)O和超额Ba构成的。超额Ba是电子发射的源泉。

Abstract: Activation proeess of an oxide eathode on a Ni-W-Mg substrate was investigated using auger electron spectroscopy (ABS) and X-ray protoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).ABS and XPS results show that the relative surfaee compositions of alkaline earth metal of an oxide eathode have changed during various states of activation. The surfaee layer of a well activated eathode consists of (Ba, Sr, Ca) O+Ba. -
